Iowa football Depth Chart Monday: Wade, Hockaday, Colbert listed as starting linebackers

IOWA CITY — You knew there'd be one change at linebacker. Turns out there were two.
The Iowa football team released its depth chart for Saturday's game at Minnesota, and your starting linebackers are listed as Barrington Wade, Jack Hockaday and Djimon Colbert.
Only Hockaday was a starter for Iowa's previous game, two weeks ago against Wisconsin. He replaced Amani Jones early in the Hawkeyes' season opener against Northern Illinois and hasn't let go of the middle spot.
Sophomore Wade replaces the injured Nick Niemann at outside linebacker. Niemann hurt his leg on the final play of the Wisconsin game and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.
From the Chicago suburbs, Wade has played in all four of Iowa's games, though mostly on special teams, and has not accumulated any statistics.
Kristian Welch had seven tackles in the first half of the Wisconsin game as the starter at weakside linebacker but was pulled in favor of redshirt freshman Colbert for the second half. Welch is listed as the backup at both weakside and outside.
On the offensive line, Dalton Ferguson is listed as the starting right guard, with Cole Banwart his backup. Banwart started Iowa's first two games but missed its third (against Northern Iowa) with an injury.
Ferguson started that game and two weeks ago against Wisconsin, though Banwart did see some time.
