If you're hoping a Holiday Bowl appearance is on the Hawkeyes' New Year's Eve agenda this year, you'll like the look of this week's bowl projections.
Seven of the eight prognosticators below peg Iowa for a bowl trip to San Diego for the first time since tying BYU 13-13 in 1991.
Washington is the most common opponent predicted. The Huskies can still qualify for a spot in the Pac-12 title game if they beat Washington State at 7:30 p.m. CT Friday.
The other possible opponent listed, Utah, has already clinched the Pac-12 South.
Iowa (7-4, 4-4) hosts Nebraska (4-7, 3-5) at 11 a.m. Friday.
