100-year-old Cedar Rapids track hosted IMCA event that drew108 cars

In continued celebration of its 100th anniversary, Hawkeye Downs has teamed up with Benton County Speedway to bring dirt back to its quarter-mile track for “Dirt at the Downs,” a six-week series of racing events set to begin Saturday.

The champions are Kurt Bohnsack (Hornets), Kevin Korsmo (Legends), Todd Ness (Sportsmans), Tallan Chandler (Sports Mods), Adam Petrzelka (Hobby Stocks), Michael Weber (Late Models) and Garrett Warren (HD Dawgs).
