Tyler Cook, Marial Shayok advance to NBA Draft Combine

CHICAGO - Iowa's Tyler Cook and Iowa State's Marial Shayok have played their way into this week's NBA Draft Combine.
Of the 40 collegians in the NBA G League Elite Camp that concluded Tuesday, 11 were invited to the Combine that runs from May 15-19 according to ESPN.com's Jonathan Givony.
Cook, a junior forward, made 10 of 11 shots and scored 24 points in 38 minutes over the two games he played at the camp.
Shayok, a senior, was 9-of-22 from the field and had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals in 40 minutes over two games.
Lindell Wigginton, an Iowa State sophomore early-entry, scored 11 points in 41 minutes over his two games. He was 5-of-17 from the field.
Talen Horton-Tucker, an Iowa State freshman guard who is an early-entry, had already secured an invitation to the Combine.
The NBA draft is June 21.
