IOWA CITY -- COVID-19 has cost the University of Iowa women’s basketball team its fourth game this season.
The Hawkeyes’ game at Penn State on Thursday has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 test results within the Nittany Lions' program.
Information on whether regarding the game will be treated in relation to the Big Ten forfeiture policy will be announced in the coming days.
The Hawkeyes had games against Drake, Seton Hall and USC canceled due to their own outbreak in November.
