Six facts:
1. The No. 5-seed Hawkeyes are fresh off a 112-76 thrashing of Northwestern Thursday. Rutgers is the No. 4-seed, its highest in its eight years in the Big Ten.
2. The Scarlet Knights beat Iowa 48-46 at Rutgers on Jan. 19. Ron Harper Jr., made two free throws with two seconds left for the game’s final points. Iowa shot 27.9 percent from the field, got no points from its bench, and was outrebounded 49-38.
3. Harper is the first Rutgers men’s player to make an All-Big Ten team. The senior forward was a second-team AP selection. Senior guard Caleb McConnell was the league’s coaches’ choice as Defensive Player of the Year. Senior guard Geo Baker was third-team all-league in the coaches’ poll.

5. The winner will play either Illinois or Indiana Saturday at noon (CT) on CBS.
6. A victory would give Iowa 24 wins for the first time since it went 25-13 and was the NIT runner-up in 2012-13.
