Iowa gave up a season-high 98 points Saturday at Nebraska and dropped to 2-8 in the Big Ten, 11-12 overall.
Nebraska shot 57.7 percent, including 11 of 19 from 3-point range, and is now 7-4 in the conference and 17-8 overall.
James Palmer led the way with 28 points on 7-of-12 shooting and five assists. He was 11 of 14 from the free-throw line. Isaac Copeland made 4 of 5 3s and scored 23 points.
The Hawkeyes trailed 48-34 at halftime but quickly cut the lead to two in the second half. Almost immediately, Nebraska ran its lead back to double digits with a 12-2 run and never let up.
Tyler Cook and Jordan Bohannon both scored 24 points for Iowa. Cook had 10 rebounds, Bohannon seven assists, plus 6-of-11 3-point shooting.
