Luka Garza nominated for ESPY
Iowa basketball player one of four nominees for Best College Athlete, Men’s Sports

Luka Garza can add to his vast collection of 2021 awards.
The former Iowa basketball player was nominated Wednesday for an ESPY award for Best Male Athlete, College Sports.
Garza swept the major National Player of the Year honors this spring after his senior season. His fellow ESPY nominees are Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith of Alabama, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Oregon State soccer player Gloire Amanda, the Hermann Trophy winner.
The ESPYs, an ESPN annual event, will be July 10 at 7 p.m., on ABC.
