With Iowa and Wisconsin both in the middle of down seasons, the Hawkeyes picked up a much-needed 85-67 victory Tuesday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
It's the first Big Ten home win of the season for Iowa (11-11, 2-7), which jumped out to a 9-0 lead and never trailed.
Wisconsin (10-11, 3-5) shot just 40 percent, including 4-for-18 from 3-point range.
Tyler Cook led the Hawkeyes with 17 points before rolling his ankle in the second half. Luka Garza and Isaiah Moss both had 15 points, while Jordan Bohannon added 13 plus 11 assists. Garza also had a double-double with a whopping 16 rebounds.
Ethan Happ led the Badgers with 21 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out. He also turned it over four times.
