MADISON, Wis. — Iowa’s McKenna Warnock and Gabbie Marshall are out for Thursdsay night’s Big Ten women’s basketball game against Wisconsin.
Warnock was in street clothes, wearing a bulky cast on her left hand, which she injured against Penn State last week and apparently aggravated in the Hawkeyes’ loss to Ohio State on Monday.
The junior, who hails from the Madison area, is third on the team in scoring (11.7 points per game) and is second in rebounding at 7.2 boards per game.
Another junior, Marshall is fourth on the team in scoring at 7.2 points per game and leads the squad in steals (30). She is wearing a sling on her right arm.
The 21st-ranked Hawkeyes (14-5 overall, 8-2 Big Ten) are without Sharon Goodman and Shateah Wetering (both with torn ACLs), plus A.J. Ediger and (probably) Logan Cook.
Cook is dressed but wearing a brace on her ankle.
Tipoff is 6:30 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
