The “Glee” star's holiday show, “A Swingin’ Little Christmas,” returns to the Hancher Saturday, Dec. 13.

The first edition of Stop/Time Festival launches Friday, April 3 through Saturday, April 4 in Iowa City. Produced by Hancher Auditorium, Stop/Time Festival is a two-day, multi-venue, multi-artist spring festival devoted to innovation and independence in contemporary music and the arts.

Camille Thurman and the Darrell Green Quartet will play two shows at the Hancher Saturday, Nov. 1.

The multidisciplinary arts festival includes performances by indie songwriter Sharon Van Etten, actress Lili Taylor, UI faculty and students, and more.

Hancher Auditorium’s 53rd season features over 70 performances ranging from the grand to the personal, from the familiar to the new. The schedule includes a Broadway series, traditional performing arts events, cutting-edge multidisciplinary arts, contemporary touring music and comedy, and special events like the Infinite Dream festival.

The musical’s soundtrack includes beloved hits like “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” “Private Dancer” and “Better Be Good to Me.”

Subscriptions go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9 for "Kinky Boots," "Clue Live On Stage!," "The Music Man" and "Beetlejuice." The season also includes a one-nighter with "Rent," which is slated for March 1, 2026.

This fusion of Irish and international dance is accompanied by Grammy Award-winning music.
