I'm currently a senior in high school. I am running for mayor because of the high amount of debt that our city has and the role that our government plays in private business. It is not the government's job to build hotels; the government's job to get taxes and provide safety and a high quality of life.
I'm the most in-touch candidate for the job. I'm able to see and learn peoples' views while I work at Hy-Vee, and I am most like the average voter. Just like the average voter knows, hard works pays off.
I will work tirelessly to make this town a better place with the help of the people. I may be a long shot to win and at the bottom off the polls. but you can't build a building from the top down, you have to build it from the bottom up.
