Ensuring sustainable growth
Jorel Robinson, mayoral candidate
Oct. 21, 2017 10:10 am
I am running for the office of the mayor for many reasons, mostly my love for the city of Cedar Rapids.
I was born here, I started my family here, and one day I will pass here. I see the great potential that the city is capable of and I can see a future where we will be leading in new innovative ideas, that will ensure future sustainable growth that we are striving to achieve.
I understand that change is at our doorstep and the only way to achieve this change is by empowering our voters to use their voice and vote for a change.
I will listen to the business owners and be their voice. Bringing in new small businesses as well as large corporations will ensure the growth and add to the diversity in the current Technology Corridor.
Giving power and a voice to our businesses, youth, and every day people in our community is vital to our growth and to ensure that we set the pace for our city, long after the current elected officials leave office.
I would appreciate your support and your vote on Nov. 7.
