A strong voice needed who listens to citizens

Mark Banowetz | Linn County Supervisor District 1
There’s a seemingly endless list as to why I choose to run for Linn County District 1 Supervisor. I know the value of the dollar and have been involved in laws and policies, having served nine years on the Ely City Council and six years as Ely’s mayor pro tem. My wife Kathleen and I have started several successful small businesses over the past 30-plus years, including the business we own and operate now, Cedar’s Edge Evergreen Market, a Christmas tree farm in Ely. Kathleen and I were raised in Linn County and are proud to say our children are raising our grandchildren here too.
I will be a strong voice for supporting our law enforcement, protecting private property rights, budgeting responsibly, supporting and strengthening small business, respecting parental rights, and respecting landowner's rights. These are some of the important issues that impact all of us and we need a strong voice who listens to the citizens and puts them first when decisions are made. Vote Nov. 8 for common sense and business sense.
Mark Banowetz is the Republican candidate in Linn County supervisor District 1.
