Workers installing newest I-380 speed cameras
Oct. 6, 2010 11:59 am
Workers were up late last night installing the latest speed cameras in Cedar Rapids.
They're going up on southbound Interstate 380 at the H Avenue exit.
These are the first cameras that will be watching the speed of drivers heading south on the interstate.
Police say they could start issuing tickets by the middle of this month.
More cameras for southbound traffic will go up near Diagonal Drive later this year.
