These are our values
Values for We the People Speak
Tolerance, Respect, Responsibility, Freedom, Hard work, Equality, Charity
Tolerance, Respect, Equality, and Freedom: Our country was started by the Colonist looking for these things whether it was freedom from religious persecution or ideological freedom. We went to war with England to secure our freedoms and these are found in many ways in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Although we have as a nation struggled with these issues from Slavery, Women's Rights, Segregation, even we treated the Native Americans who were the original founders of our country as they were native to this land less then equally. We have overcome these and have fought whether in Wars or by Civil Protest to ensure these freedoms are protected. In our group everyone will have a voice and a say all beliefs will be respected whether everyone agrees with them or not. It is important to remember that this country was built by many people not just by one group.
Charity, Hard work, Responsibility: Our country was not built overnight it took the struggles against the elements and of coming to a new land. Everyone had to work together the lessons of the Mayflower and Jamestown taught us this. You cannot stand by the wayside and think things will get better you have to work to make things better for yourself and for the nation. It is your responsibility to do so and it takes hard work. We are a nation of charity and of giving this does not mean that you must donate all your money to a cause because not everyone can afford to do so. Charity is helping a neighbor in need, Welcoming home a soldier, comforting a child, cleaning a park, or giving an animal that is lost food or shelter. Charity comes in many different ways remember we Celebrate Thanksgiving because the Native Americans gave us food and the knowledge of crops and survival without this we could have not made it as a nation. It is the Responsibility of this group to work hard and be charitable when possible and ensure our freedoms are protected
