WATCH REPLAY: Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett unveils mayoral portrait
As one of his last acts before leaving office, Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett unveiled his mayoral portrait today.
The unveiling was followed by a reception and ceremony held outside the council chambers, located on the third floor of City Hall, 101 First St. SE.
The reception honored Corbett and council members Kris Gulick, Ralph Russell, Pat Shey and Justin Shields for their years of service.
The wall outside the council chambers features charcoal sketches of each of the Cedar Rapids mayors.
