What are the three most important issues facing Iowans and our country, and how would you address them as a U.S. representative?
' Taxation: Decrease to as low as possible.
' Trade wars: Advocate free-market economics and get government out of trade deals.
' End the wars: End the overseas intervention; defend America.
Do you support President Donald Trump's approach to trade and tariffs? Why or why not?
No, I support free markets. Government shouldn't be involved in trade deals.
What will you propose or support in Congress to protect and promote Iowa's farming economy?
Getting government intervention out of trade. Allowing industrial hemp to be grown by farmers. Support a free market environment.
What steps are needed to help grow and retain Iowa's workforce, especially in more rural areas?
Government shouldn't be picking winners and losers. Let the market decide, I'd advocate for a free market economic environment.
Do you believe Congress should increase the federal minimum wage, currently at $7.25?
No, the real minimum wage is zero. I'd advocate for a free-market economic environment - let the market decide the wages without government intervention.
What steps are needed to control the rising costs of health premiums and health care?
Get government out of health care, allowing for competition, including in the pharmacology industry. The FDA does more to protect pharma companies than it does its consumers. I'd advocate getting rid of the FDA.
What is your approach to immigration reform? What steps will you propose or support in Congress?
I advocate for strong property rights, self-defense and the non-aggression principle. Just because an individual wasn't born in a certain geographic region makes them not an individual needing to respect others rights, property and life. Or have their life, rights and property infringed on. America is about freedom.
If you are elected, what efforts would you make to listen to and include those who have political beliefs which don't match your own? How would you communicate with your constituents?
They can contact me on Facebook, Twitter or email.
Why are you the best candidate to represent this district in Iowa?
I'd try to get the government out of their way to let them live as free as possible. So long as they let others do the same and don't harm or disrespect others' life liberty and property.
