‘Roast and Ride’ set for June 3

U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst's third annual 'Roast and Ride” fundraiser will be June 3, the Iowa Republican's leadership PAC announced Monday.

It will be held at Central Iowa Expo in Boone.

Guest speakers were not announced. That will come later, along with details on ticket sales, according to a news release from JONIPAC.

Last year's guest speaker was then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The motorcycle ride that's part of this year's event will begin at Big Barn Harley Davidson in Des Moines.

JONIPAC raised $1.4 million in the 2016 election cycle, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.
