Reynolds reports $4 million in campaign funds

Jan. 17, 2018 1:07 pm
DES MOINES - Gov. Kim Reynolds has announced raising more than $3.7 million last year.
Reynolds, who faces two rivals for the Republican nomination for governor, reported the fundraising haul brings her cash-on-hand total to $4.14 million five months from the June 5 primary election. She had reported $1.1 million cash-on-hand at the beginning of 2017.
The Reynolds campaign said the contributions came from all 99 counties, with three-quarters of them $250 or less. Ninety-five percent were from Iowans.
Reynolds' report will be filed with the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board later this week.
