REMINDER: Property taxes due Sept. 30

The semi-annual installment of property and mobile home taxes are now due. A penalty of one and one half percent will attach to each payment on October 1. Payments postmarked by September 30, 2011 will be considered paid in September and no penalty will be charged.
Residents can pay property taxes at the Treasurer's Office, at their local bank, over the Internet at www.iowataxandtags.gov or through the postal service.
