Public hearing on government reorganization is Monday

The Iowa House State Government Committee will conduct a public hearing on Senate File 2088, a bill to reorganize state government, from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 8 in Room 103 (the former Supreme Court chamber) of the State Capitol in Des Moines.
People wishing to speak will be given three minutes. Written testimony is encouraged but not required.

SF 2088 has been approved by the Senate as well as the House State Government and Appropriations committees. House leaders plan to debate the bill on the floor during the coming week.
