Vice President Mike Pence will return next week to Iowa to talk about federal tax cuts, according to a group formed to promote Trump administration policies.
America First Policies announced that Pence will appear 1 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. 833 Fifth Avenue in Des Moines. Doors open at 11 a.m.
'Join your fellow Iowans, America First Policies, and Vice President Mike Pence to learn more about what the tax cuts mean for you and your family,” the announcement said.
Tickets for the event can be reserved online at americafirstpolicies.org/events/des-moines-ia.
Pence was last in Iowa on July 11, when he visited Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids and tried to calm worries among farmers and manufacturers over tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump and retaliation against U.S. goods by other nations.
