A Palo woman who is a certified voice writer is the first in the state and in the 6th district following the Iowa Supreme Court’s order that allows voice writers as court reporters. Court officials hope it will reduce the critical shortage. Voice writing is just another option which may come easier to some than typing on a steno machine.
