Mayor Corbett beats Bob Bruce in Hawkeye Downs race
Mayor Ron Corbett is still standing, though he was bested by Barry Boyer, president/CEO of Van Meter Industrial, in a 15-lap race Friday night at Hawkeye Downs racetrack.
The third driver in the celebrity race feature - radio talk-show personality Bob Bruce - finished behind the mayor.
