Linn County to offer free surplus office furniture to non-profits

Linn County will offer surplus office furniture to area non-profits free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis on Tuesday, June 19 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on the 1st floor of Linn County West, 2500 Edgewood Rd. SW in Cedar Rapids.

The furniture includes desks, chairs and file cabinets. Non-profits will be responsible for providing their own transportation for the furniture.

To participate, non-profits must submit an email to Amanda.Hoy@linncounty.org prior to noon on June 18th containing the following information:

• Corporate name
• Corporate number as assigned by the Iowa Secretary of State (www.sos.state.is.us)
• Contact name including title, phone number and address.
