Iowa Transportation Commission travels to Washington, D.C.

Members of the Iowa Transportation Commission will travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Iowa's congressional delegation April 25 and 26.
Items to be discussed include federal surface transportation reauthorization and the annual and long-term funding outlook and needs. Other possible discussion topics include potential changes in federal transportation programs; federal, state and local roles in surface transportation programs; and nonhighway modes of transportation.
Transportation-related matters will be discussed, but no action will be taken.
