Informational meeting on Riverside Park redevelopment

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – January 18, 2012 – On December 11, 2011, the City of Cedar Rapids received a letter of interest in acquiring Riverside Park. 

The City is now accepting redevelopment proposals for this site.

To provide an overview of the proposal process and address specific questions, an informational session will be held for prospective developers on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the North Conference Room of City Hall North located at 3851 River Ridge Drive NE.  This will include discussion of criteria used in the evaluation of proposals, such as experience of developer, financial capacity, and market feasibility.      

Proposals for the redevelopment of this property will be received at the Community Development Department, 3851 River Ridge Drive NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa before 11:00 a.m. on the 3
