Gov. Reynolds to announce new Iowa Supreme Court justice today
According to a media release from the office of Gov. Kim Reynolds, she plans to announce her Supreme Court justice selection on Wednesday.
The selection is scheduled for 3:30 p, m. in the Governor's Formal Office at the state capitol in Des Moines.
The three candidates for the seat are all women.
- Susan Christensen, a judge in the 4th Judicial District in Harlan;
- Terri Comb, a lawyer with Faegre Baker Daniels in West Des Moines;
- and Kellyann Lekar, a judge in the 1st Judicial District in Waterloo.
