Coralville seeks developer for 'Old Town'

Coralville is looking for a developer for its Old Town area.
The city is requesting proposals for the redevelopment of a neighborhood intended to mix commercial and residential uses with public spaces and trails. A master plan has been created using community input.
Old Town Coralville is defined as the area south of Fifth Street, east of Biscuit Creek, north of Clear Creek and west of First Avenue. The area was flooded in 2008, and the city has developed a flood-protection plan. The developer will need to construct earthen berms, according to the city.
