City to host open house about new Animal Care & Control facility

The City of Cedar Rapids will host a public open house next week about the construction of the new Animal Care & Control facility being built on the Kirkwood Community College Campus. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 18, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., in the Community Room at the Cedar Rapids Police Station, 505 1st Street SW.
During this come-and-go event, the City will present preliminary design layouts and renderings of the new facility. Residents are encouraged to review the information, ask questions and provide feedback on the project design.
