Cherry Hill pool closed Saturday for event
The Cherry Hill Aquatic Center will be closed to the public all day Saturday for the All City Competitive Swim Meet.
Swimmers 4 to 17 years from across the city will compete in 74 events, according to the Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department, which is hosting the event. Admission is $4 per person.
Cherry Hill will reopen Sunday at its regular time with lap swim at 11:45 a.m. All other municipal pools will follow their regular Saturday schedules. The Noelridge Aquatic Center afternoon swim will be extended until 8 p.m. to help offset the Cherry Hill closure.
