Absentee voting underway in Senate 18, city elections

Absentee ballots for the Nov.  8 regular city elections and special election in Iowa Senate 18 now are available in the Linn County Elections Office at Linn County West, 2500 Edgewood Rd. SW.

Office hours for absentee voting are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Elections Office also will be open for voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5.

The last day to preregister to vote in Oct. 28 and the last day to request an absentee ballot is Nov. 4.
