Steelhawks rally past Titans

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks rallied from a 19-7 deficit to defeat the Cedar Rapids Titans, 25-19, last night in an Indoor Football League game.

John Halman opened the scoring for Cedar Rapids when Tommie Williams blocked a 60-yard field goal attempt and Vernard Wilkins recovered it for a touchdown.

After the Steelhawks tied it, the Titans went up 13-7 on an Everett Roberts 50-yard touchdown run. then Xzavie Jackson made it 19-7 when he forced a fumble and recovered it for a touchdown.

But two Bryan Randall touchdown passes to Isiejah Allen and a John Halman field goal gave Lehigh Valley the come-from behind victory.

The Titans, still winless on the road, dropped to 2-4.

Lehigh Valley improved its record to 4-3.
