Iowa high school football playoffs 2024: Here are the state quarterfinal matchups

The Iowa high school football playoff field is down to 56 teams, eight in each of the seven classes. The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced the quarterfinal pairings and hosts Friday night.

Quarterfinal games are next Friday, Nov. 8 in the six 11-player classes and next Thursday, Nov. 7 in 8-Player. All games kick off at 7 p.m.

Winners advance to the state semifinals at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.

Teams were grouped into brackets of four ahead of the round of 16 but will be reseeded at the semifinal stage.
