The Iowa high school football playoffs have progressed to the quarterfinal round, where teams are one win away from reaching the UNI-Dome.
The Iowa High School Athletic Association bracketed teams into four groups of four in each of the seven classes ahead of the round of 16. Those pod winners will be reseeded for the semifinals.
Teams with the best district finishes got quarterfinal hosting priority in 2A, 1A, A and 8-Player. Ties among teams with the same district finish, district record and no head-to-head competition went to the alphabet, with the school listed last hosting.
The post-Week 9 RPI standings were used to determine hosts in 5A, 4A and 3A.
All the quarterfinal matchups are listed below. Rankings listed are via the final Gazette regular-season polls.
Games kick off at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 in the 11-player classes and 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 in 8-Player.
