The playoff field is set for the smaller four Iowa high school football classes. The postseason kicks off Friday for 32 teams in each of Class 2A, 1A, A and 8-Player.
The bigger three classes still have another week of the regular season.
Playoff pairings were released Saturday morning by the Iowa High School Athletic Association. There are no brackets for this round. The remaining 16 teams in each class will be drawn into four pods of four teams each after the first-round games.
