Iowa high school football 2023: Who the ranked teams face in Week 8

It’s the final week of the 2023 Iowa high school football regular season for Class 2A, 1A, A and 8-Player, and a Class 2A showdown is one of the Week 8 highlights.

Top-ranked Central Lyon/George-Little Rock (7-0) and No. 3 West Lyon (7-0) meet Friday night in one of two unbeaten-vs.-unbeaten showdowns.

The other might be the highlight of the regular-season schedule: No. 2 West Des Moines Dowling (7-0) at No. 1 Southeast Polk (7-0) in Class 5A.
