CVCS will play 'home' football games at Springville, Central City

CEDAR RAPIDS -- The Cedar Valley Christian football team will play its first home football game Aug. 31.
At Springville.
CVCS principal Jeff Pospisil said Tuesday that the Huskies will play three of their five home games this season at Springville "unless we are able to secure a field of our own between now and then."
The Huskies' "home opener" is against Valley Community. The Huskies also will play home games at Springville on Sept. 28 and Oct. 12.
Springville is at home Sept. 21 and Oct. 19, so Pospisil hopes to play those dates at Central City.
