Wheaton's Teddy Watkins ran the ball to the 28-yard line to start the third quarter. Wheaton with a field goal at 12:51 left in the quarter, the score goes to 9-7 with Wheation in the lead.
Coe responded with a touchdown by quarterback Brad Boyle to put the Kohawks back in the lead 14-9, with 11:32 left to play. Boyle scored again with 5:12 left in the quarter to bring the score to 21-9.
