Wheaton, IL - Wheaton scored a touchdown with 13:28 left in the fourth to up the score to 21-16, with Coe still in the lead.
At 12:30 left in the game, Wheaton pulled forward to take the lead 24-21.
Wheaton scored their third touchdown of the quarter with 8:12 left in the game to bring the score to 31-21.
Coe never came back from this defecite, falling apart near the end of the game. A 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike taunting from Coe with one minute left ended the game for the Kohawks.
The final score was 31-21 with Wheaton moving on to the second round of the NCAA DIII playoffs. Wheaton will play the winner of the Wartburg vs. Bethel (MN) game.
