Coe football team ranked 23rd in AFCA D-III poll

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Coe College football team entered the American Football Coaches Association's top-25 football poll Wednesday at No. 23.
The Kohawks are 6-0, one of 17 undefeated teams remaining in NCAA Division III. They play Saturday at Dubuque (6-0), which is rated 16th.
Coe has picked up back-to-back thrilling victories the previous two weeks over Wartburg and Central. A blocked field goal on the final play of the game ensured last week's three-point win against Central.
Mount Union is No. 1 in the AFCA poll.
