The Cedar Rapids Police Department on Sunday released indoor and outdoor body camera footage from the high-rise Geneva Tower fire on Feb. 20, 2022. The Facebook video also included audio of 911 calls from residents there.
Police said the Joint Communications Agency dispatched every available police officer and firefighter, and described the incident as Cedar Rapids’ largest-ever high-rise fire.
To help Geneva Tower residents still in need, authorities said financial donations may be given at the Affordable Housing Network website.
