Semi trailer fire closes I-380 Wilson Avenue ramps in Cedar Rapids
The closure is expected to last into the afternoon
CEDAR RAPIDS — A fire in a semi trailer closed an I-380 exit ramp in Cedar Rapids Friday morning.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department reported the closure of the southbound Wilson Avenue exit ramp at 9:30 a.m. Friday through a post on Facebook.
Firefighters were seen removing boxes from the back of the semi trailer.
According to the post, the closure was affecting traffic exiting I-380 at Wilson Avenue, as well as traffic attempting to use the on-ramp.
The closure is expected to last into the afternoon.
