Nicky Wiesenfeld and Nicholas Arnold announce their engagement to be

married. Parents of the couple are Dr. Marty and Diane Wiesenfeld of Cedar Rapids and Dr. Fred and Helen Arnold of Haymarket, VA. Nicky graduated from the University of Wisconsin,

Madison, with a degree in History, and Nicholas earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Eastern

Washington University and an English

degree from the College of Charleston. The couple now lives in Portland,

OR; they met when Nicky traveled there from her home in Brooklyn, NY for Thanksgiving in 2012. Nicky continues her employment with Tablet Hotels in New York as the West Coast Sales Manager, and Nicholas works as a

writer, editor, and creative lead at Alling Henning Associates in Portland.

They are planning an October 2015 wedding in Bend, OR.
