Todd and Sandy Walton of Belle Plaine are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Walton, to Preston Valdez, son of Perry and Kim Valdez of Cedar Rapids. Katie, a graduate of the University of Iowa, is a sonographer at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Preston graduated from Kirkwood
Community College and is the Service Manager at McGrath Volkswagen in Marion. An Oct. 6 wedding is planned. The couple will reside in
Cedar Rapids.
