Jack and Barb Thorpe of Cedar Rapids are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Renee Thorpe, to Johnny Michael Denes, son of Rosemary Denes and John and Laurie Denes.
Holly graduated from Washington High School and Johnny graduated from Linn-Mar High School. They both graduated from Minnesota State SE Tech in 2005. Holly works at Wolfe Eye Clinic and Johnny works at Alliant Energy.
The couple will exchange vows on August 21, 2010, in Amana, IA.
