Thornburg - Thorp
Together with their families, Amanda Thornburg and Nicolas Thorp are pleased to announce their engagement. Amanda is the daughter of Tom and Bette Thornburg of Marion, IA. Nic is the son of Shari Miller of Mt. Vernon, IA and Kevin and Carrie Thorp of Marion.
The couple graduated from Linn-Mar High School. Amanda received her BSN from Allen College in 2010 and is a labor and delivery nurse at St. Luke's Hospital. Nic graduated from UNI with his BA in Business Management in 2008, & received his Secondary Education degree from Mt. Mercy in 2010. He is currently employed at Springville Secondary School as a business teacher.
The couple will be married at First United Methodist Church in Marion on July 28, 2012.
