engagement of their son, Lukas Schroder of Shellsburg, to Christiana Smith, daughter of Kevin and Karen Smith of Des Moines.
Lukas graduated from the University of
Northern Iowa in May of 2015 with degrees in Economics and Spanish. Lukas is employed at Transamerica in Cedar Rapids. Christiana
currently teaches
undergraduate Spanish and English at the
University of Northern
Iowa and will graduate from UNI with her MA in TESOL in May of 2016.
A wedding in Des Moines is planned for June 25th. The couple will make their home in Denver, CO.
