WEST DES MOINES, IA - Kara Leigh Shore and Michael Alexander Vaughn, both of West Des Moines, announce their engagement.
Kara is the daughter of Jim and Karen Shore of Cedar Rapids. Michael is the son of Bill and Veronicca Vaughn of Story City, IA.
Kara graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Communications. She is employed as a foundation assistant with Children and Families of Iowa.
Michael received a B.A. in Electronic Media from the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed by KCCI-TV as a camera operator.
The couple will exchange wedding vows May 22, 2010, during a 6 p.m. ceremony at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, IA.
